^_^

Been over a year since my last update on this Blog. Mostly my excuses are due to time/internet constraint when the real issue is struggling with the motivation to keep up on updating base on deadline basis. Self imposed deadline? I don't think so and I would prefer to think of it as PEER PRESSURE. The Bloggers Peer. ^^ Though it is not a Life/Death pressure, so I opted for the choice of NOT updating until "I feel like it".

I personally find it funny how Peer Pressure exists in the NET as much as in REAL life. I have only discovered that all the "emotions" that I have been through & I have been dealing with in this last 4 years when administrating a few political blogs/ facebook pages, had to do with "peer pressure". Consciously I had to constantly working on separating my identity on the NET with who I really am in REAL life every time when the "pressure" gets to my nerve. Mostly pressure from comments or statements that are meant to attack me directly (sometimes death threats) as an individual, instead of directing it to the Organizations or Groups that I am administrating on behalf.

Believe it or not, this is the list of Emotional & Mental Skills that I have acquired along my journey in writing/ administrate political blogs/facebook pages.

  1. Know Your Limits and Have Respect for Yourself
  2. Remember the Consequences of Your Actions
  3. Stay Around and Socialize with a Good Group of Friends
  4. Build a Strong Sense of Self Confidence and Self Esteem

Last but not least, you may GOOGLE your way to Find Out Ways to Deal with Peer Pressure ^^. That's what GOOGLE does ain't it? Tells you what you wanna know ! That's all for now ! Peace ! Go Green !

Deep BLUE SEA

^_^ Been reading lots & lots & lotsa Blogie's tweets & fb about the SEA.
AND "just so happened" that ASEANBLOGGERS are all living in the SEA (South Eeat Asia).
SO "just a thought" to write something ...about the SEA... what many may have already known... yet...
...not knowning where the SEA is ??? ^^ sound strange...? hahaha - gotcha - lets get CLEVER and lets talk about bizzzzzzzzz nest (BUSINESS) ...

Blue SEA(Market/ Product)
Red SEA (Market/ Product)
1
Not Yet in Existence / Explored

Existing
2
Demand is created

Boundaries - defined/ accepted
3
Competition irrelevant

Competitive
4
Rules of Game to be set

Rules of Games are known
5
Wider, deeper potential of market space

Potential of Market Space - Restricted/ Set
6
Ample opportunity for growth

Products become commodities or niche,
7
Profitable and rapid

Cutthroat competition turns the ocean bloody

Seen the above before ???
What has that got to do with me, you may be thinking. hmmmm, let's see.
Whatever you may be working on right now, does the points below applicable/ helpful to you?

Builds on the concept of
·      VALUE INNOVATION
·      Being able to INCREASE VALUE while
·      REDUCING COSTS at the same time

Will it makes sense if relate the above concept with the below?

You CAN achieve this when you grasp the above concept
Ø  BECOMING ENVIRONMENTAL – FRIENDLY, can actually
Ø  LOWER the production COSTS by,
Ø reducing the INPUTS used.
Ø  BY NOT TAKING the STRUCTURE of the operating environment AS a given,
Ø  a company may generate ADDITIONAL REVENUES from
Ø  BETTER products and
Ø  CREATE NEW BUSINESSES, by
Ø  TAKING a RECONSTRUCTIONIST approach to strategy

THE END - HEAL THE WORLD, make it a BETTER place, for you & for me & the entire human race ^^

BORNEO - Sematan Palm Beach Resort 世外桃源

Sematan Palm Beach Resort 世外桃源

Sematan is a small fishing village town in Sarawak facing the South China Sea.

Just a short distance from the Sarawak-Kalimantan (Indonesia) border.
For a taste of local culture, make a visit to the Selakau Longhouse nearby or perhaps take a look at the oldest Chinese wooden shop in Sematan that dated back to about 150 years old. Inquire the resort staff for more information on the village and its people here.

Nature lovers can hike at the nearby Gunung Gading National Park. If you're lucky, you'll be able to see the world's largest flower, Rafflesia, bloom in its glory. Alternatively, hop on a boat to Tanjung Datu National Park to discover the untouched flora and fauna of the Sarawak rainforest.

^_^ IOU - not sure who's been reading BUT... accountability is a virtue, regardless

About My Company - the Pride of Borneo 2011 - 1st Ever Convention Centre to envelope event up to 5000 people comfortably.

My "pick up" Line  ^^

Hello ! Greetings from Borneo!
My name is Abigail Law and I would like to introduce you, Borneo Convention Centre Kuching,
located by a marina overlooking historic rainforest, Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) is the first international purpose-built convention centre on the island of Borneo.

BCCK has a rainforest themed architecture, and a major feature of the centre's design when viewed from the outside is its roof structure. The roof is shaped in the form of a 'ririg' leaf, a rainforest plant that plays an important role in the local indigenous cultures. With environmental preservation in mind, rain water will automatically be channelled down the central vein of the leaf on the rooftop and collected for irrigation in the centre's gardens and grounds.

how to "GET" followers ... (on my blog?)

^_^
Well... many ways to do it. Personally I would like to believe there is no "wrong" way to do so. BUT, there is always this invisible "unspoken" rules. To make it complicated since it is "muted & therefore blinded", then stepping on people's toes is just something that must take place. Prophecy just doesn't fit right in here cos it is like a booby trap, IF u know what i mean... ^_* wink wink .

Same applies in Facebook. Rubbing shoulder's is now "made alive" in Facebook with all the invisible "unspoken" rules. You CAN propose a rule & you are ALLOWED to propose. Democratic huh ? ^_* wink wink. The word Spam is so familiar yet so alien that people may find it hard to grasp as to where/ how to draw the line BEFORE someone REPORT you for spamming follows by Punishment without conviction/ trial. (u r Guilty until the blocking lifted ^_* hahahah -lol- )

i am blessed & i know i am. i can say that all of my more than 3000 facebook frens are really "frens" frens. i have come to believe that because we are connected for over 2 yrs. We rubbed shoulders, we cry & laugh together & at each other, etc - yet, we are still in each other's facebook.

So last night, eagerly i wanted followers in my blog. So i did it "conventional" way. Posting the link & "invite" frens to follow. One fren inboxed me & sounded annoyed at the same time, explained to me he doesn't like what i did "to" him. Posting my link on his status that is.

We had a pep talk & ended with a line of wisdom from him - he said -
Abigail, if what you are doing is right, it will attract attention all on its own.

i went like, WOW !!! - a great awakening... that is SOOOOOO true... just a simple line, YET that's the principal of nature ... (even though what i wanted is followers, not attention, but yeah... i do believe if what i m doing is right, it will attract the alike...to follow... why not ? ^_* wink wink)
